Turkish and Moroccan Companies Convene in Casablanca
Within the scope of the General Trade Mission to Morocco organized by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, Turkish and Moroccan companies conducted bilateral business meetings.
The Morocco General Trade Mission program, held in Casablanca between 4–7 February under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade and the organization of the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM), brought together the business communities of Türkiye and Morocco.
The delegation program was attended by Republic of Türkiye Ambassador to Rabat Mustafa İlker Kılıç, Ministry of Trade Director General for Exports Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, TİM Board Members İbrahim Pektaş and Mustafa Şenocak, as well as representatives of the business communities of both countries.
Twenty-six representatives from 21 Turkish exporting companies operating in various sectors—primarily textiles, chemicals, iron and steel, furniture, machinery, and vegetables and their processed products—met with 148 Moroccan importing companies within the framework of the mission. During the B2B bilateral business meetings, nearly 300 business negotiations were held, and cooperation opportunities across diverse sectors were evaluated.
Within the scope of the program, Ambassador to Rabat Mustafa İlker Kılıç, Ministry of Trade Director General for Exports Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, and Chairman of the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services Hassan Berkani visited the meeting area, met with Turkish companies, and conveyed their best wishes for the successful completion of the delegation.
